It is EASY to LEARN & GENTLE on the BODY.  WATER is ESPECIALLY CALMING & STRESS-ALLEVIATING & can DEVELOP a DEEPER LEVEL of MINDFULNESS

Just imagine yourself immersed in nature, the breeze on your face the birds are singing & the fish are feeding. The morning sun warms your body as you move from Yoga pose to pose while floating gently on top of the water with your board. You are feeling one of the most natural and full ways to move your body while releasing tension and stress from the mind. 

SUP Yoga is the combination of Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) and Yoga. Classes are conducted on stable wide, soft wrapped or inflatable paddleboards, floating on gentle still waters. Certain Yoga poses (asanas) are performed on the boards under the direction of qualified Yoga and Paddleboarding Instructors with a particular emphasis on building core stability, strength and balance while focusing inwards and to the environment beyond.

SUP Yoga is an easy to learn, low impact, endurance building discipline. With a focus on cultivating physical concentration, mindfulness and connection, SUP Yoga encourages a union of mind, body and spirit that we strive to find in our busy modern day lives. With this combination, SUP Yoga provides the perfect harmony of body and soul

If you love Yoga and Paddleboarding, prefer practising in a natural environment without walls, or just want to try a discipline that is unique, then SUP Yoga is for you.

BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL AND MADE ONLINE VIA STILLWATER PADDLEBOARDS. CUT OFF FOR BOOKING SESSIONS ONLINE IS 9PM THE EVENING PRIOR TO THE MORNING OF EACH CLASS.

Spring season prices of $35 per class this includes 1hr & 15 min of Yoga instruction, meditation/relaxation, equipment hire, water safety supervision & instruction SUP specific. If you have your own board join in for only $15 no need to book just turn up.

Consider a multiple visit pass to use on any session on the calendar untill the end of our season in 2018.  ~ 5 Visits $150.  Can be purchased online on any day hightlighted on the calendar for your first visit.  Please note you are required to confirm all other visits with us by 9pm the evening prior to the morning of each class via SMS only: 0419 317 220

YOGA SUPing requires very little, bring;

  • towel/big snuggly one
  • change of warm clothes (just in case)
  • warm socks
  • wear your swimwear/sports gear/yoga gear
  • drininking water
  • a smile
  • we supply the rest!!

Be prepared for the elements, weather can change: hats, warmer clothes, etc.....

  • Professional instruction from our accredited & experienced Yoga and Paddleboarding instructors.

It is advised that partcipants continuing on with yoga for the duration of the season to attend at least one Introduction to Paddleboarding class or program, to gain some much needed skills and safety knowlege of the sport.  Particpants will not be able to advance to standing poses without this.

All participants are to arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled session. Classes will start on time if you are late you will miss out as we do not want to interupt the serenity of the class.

Please note: We require a minimum of 8 participants for a session.  If we need to cancel due to low numbers you are able to transfere your booking to another day. 

 

 

Stillwater Paddleboards has the right to cancel any session without notice, due to unforseen circumstances, including limited class numbers, or conditions that could have an impact on participant safety, this can include but not limited to: extreme weather conditions ranging from high winds or extreme heat, however we operate in all weather conditions providing it is safe. (Rain, hail or shine) If conditions unsafe we will reschedule the lesson.  If we change the time and you are unable to come to the new lesson, then we will provide a full refund or a credit note valid for 12months to use in any program.  Otherwise there are no refunds, transfers to other people, or cancelations unless 24hr prior notice is given.

SWP will endeavour to contact all participants with as much notice as possible.

Note: A minimun 24hrs notice of cancellation to any pre-booked session is required, failure to do so will incur the full fee of the session.  .
